Faded Grid Tutorial
By Philip Balalovski

In this tutorial, I will teach you how to make a faded grid. Like in this image: http://www.must-have-software.net/Pics/contest4.jpg  That was made for a contest and the grid is on the bottom right hand corner. Here's how you do it:

1.) Get your image that you made and go to Edit -> Fill and fill it in with the gird pattern you made. If you haven't made on yet, follow this tutorial.

2.) Press Q to go into quick mask mode.

3.) Mess with the gradient tool and see what you want. The white area is the area that will be deleted. The pink is the part that will be kept. Once you have it how you want, press the Q key again.

4.) Keep on pressing delete until the grid fits how you want it to look.

5.) Press ctrl+D to deselect.

Now you are done! Enjoy your new faded gird!!!

Tips: You can also use the blur tool to make some parts different. Also, try lowering the opacity to make it not stand out as much.
